The Last Sunset of 2021 and the First Winter Drive of 2022

Good bye old, worn out and dented year. Hello shiny and new year. The strikeo of midnight; and we're filled with hope. We've been served up an interesting menu of weather in the last few months.

EARTH - Destructive mud slides.
WATER - Disasterous floods.
AIR -
Deadly winds.
FIRE - Devastating Wild Fires.

An insane year in the weather department.

I've learned of climate conditions I never knew existed in the last year; Heat Domes, Atmospheric Rivers, Polar Vortexes and who knows what else! And that's not even acknowledging the Pandemic tailspin the world is going down in.
I should consider finishing my apocalyptic weather screenplay.

It's out of my control. So - I aim. I focus. I shoot. I edit. I crop and tweak crooked or over-exposed images. Then I post the results. Random captures of the normalest part of our little corner of the world.

The last beautiful sunset of a not so beautiful year.
We now wait the summer solstice.
Standing tall against the elements.
Keep out.
Subdued Celebrations.
You better have your snow tires on.
Heed the warning.
Textures.
The white picket fence dream.
Weeping icicles.
