Beautiful Weeping Willows

What an incredible Sunday morning.
Incredible clear, blue sky. Crisp, fresh air.
Reasonable traffic to contend with.
Coffee and muffins at a McDonald's we'd never been to.
It was right down posh.
I'd love to have a couple pieces of its furniture in my apartment.

Took the usual collection of randomness to add to my collection.

hidden beauty in plain sight in an industrial park.

Winter clouds are rolling in

Yep, another early Sunday morning coffee run and not a cloud in the sky.

Twenty minutes into our time in the coffee shop and the blue sky was taken over by a steady wall of slate grey clouds.

At home:
more dust than I care to admit
I have an unwelcome tenant living between my living room window and screen.
The  BC government issued a warning about these little monsters earlier this summer and to my bad luck, a few found their way into my apartment.
Guiltily, I've pulverized 3 out of existence and now I trapped this last one between the window and screen. It will live there until it dies of old age and I've lost access to fresh air from this window until further notice.

Sightseeing on a Sunny Sunday

Mid November and winter is inching closer. The temperatures are steadily dropping. We had a short-lived dusting of snow just this week, and note-worthy wind storm stripped most of the changing leaves from the trees.

We went out for coffee and a 'short' drive. This is what I shot from the passenger seat of the trusty Sidekick, affectionately known as 'shiftless'.

A ibrary's a library.

A little cozy fall sweater.
