Derby Reach Regional Park

It's Sunday again. And the weather was perfect for a little roadtrip. We headed out to Langley and checked out Derby Reach Regional Park. There are river and mountain view trails throughout. Picnic tables, water fountains for both human and four-legged visitors.

There is an area with heritage buildings and a 'floating orchard'. The apple trees have been planted above ground in rings of soil so the histor of previous inhabitants remain undisturbed.

Further down the road is the Edgewater Bar Campsite (no pics) that might have to be tested out over night. The slots are right on the riverbank. Looked idyllic from the car.

Stopped for gas in Fort Langley.
