A Quiet Christmas Morning Drive

The big day has arrived. Our little city was gifted with a 'White Christmas'.
It's been a picturesque and peaceful day. We may have more of the white stuff coming in over the next few days. But this is what we went out and saw today.

Would make a fantastic artist work/live space.
Abandoned bus waiting to be turned into a 'Tiny Home'.

Winter exposes nature's condos.
We're on our way home.

Waiting out winter to wake again in Spring.

The snow was coming down heavy in front of A.R. Savage's.

Birds clinging to a silo.

Quintessential little red farm house.
Where we were.
Buzz cuts are chilly in the winter.
Fence between our building and the little house next door.
The view from my living room window.

A Few Christmas Lights

Took a drive around the Queens Park neighbourhood to check out the houses all decked out in lights. They did not disappoint. We even had a little snow to make the drive festive. They're blurry but they capture the memories of another Christmas.

Summer's beautiful Rose Garden in winter slumber.

Wood Ave., Morning Frost and Train Tracks.

It's Sunday again and off we go for breakfast and a wee drive.
What a beautiful morning that greeted us today.
You'd never think that Christmas is less than a week away by the clear sunny sky.
I'll take this as one of the best Christmas presents ever.

Under-exposed for richer colours.

The moon was heading to bed.

A frosty morning.

The every moving Fraser river.

Part of Poplar Island.

Happy little fishing boat.

A gathering of geese.

Shopping cart carcass.

Ice covered puddle.

Our own car exhaust.

Barriers warning of dangerous road erosion.

Steam off the tracks heating up in the sun.

Frosty tracks.

Railway ties blanketed in frost.

Frost on the ties.

Fading frost, Rusty iron. Aging wood. Creeping vines.

Mirrored bridge.

Friendly overhead passer-by.

Straight line.

Frosty perspective into the distance.

Straight lines.

Tracks heading through town.

Distant mountain rainge dusted in snow.

Accumulating snow on local mountains.

Sunday morning breakfast location.

Industrial smoke.

Industry way down the road.

Someone in the building is doing laundry.
