Coquitlam's Como Lake

Another beautiful summer morning. We visited Como Lake in Coquitlam this morning.
A beautiful little lake. A popular spot for everyone. Benches, picnic tables, a kids play area, etc. There is a wide, well maintained packed gravel path that loops all around the lake with great views from multiple vantage point.

Port Royal, just across the Fraser River

Sunday. Sun and puffy white clouds. Refreshing breeze. Errands then our regular drive. This weekend we ended up just across the Fraser river in Port Royal. A tight, congested, yet gorgeous little neighbourhood. One of those "I'd move in in a heartbeat" seeing the cute little rowhouses looking out over the river. It has a bit of an old-timey feel to it - white picket fences and comfy chairs out of the generous front porches. Idyllic.
