Couple of things around the house

So...COVID...and now Fall is settling in. I'm not getting out nearly as often as I should of late. But I like being in the house, prefer it. And so, I started shooting what caught my eye around my messy house. I need to set up more organized 'shoots' and get back to looking at things with a B&W eye if I'm inside until Spring. More macro too.

Autumn Trip to Westham Island Herb Farm in Delta, BC

Over an impressive one lane wooden bridge where you have to yield to whomever got to it first, is Westham Island Herb Farm (and General Store) a lovely family owned farm in Delta, BC.
Their produce is on display wherever there's a flat surface. They have a smattering of livestock on the property including a wee donkey that bites - well that's what the sign said.
And I am still searching for the perfect moon shot despite the shortcomings of my lens length.

Pandemic Baking and a City in the Park

The initial COVID-19 fear spike has flattened or leveled off somewhat into an acceptance of the 'new normal' it has created.  I think the global baking craze might have leveled off too. Mine has. My waistline and grocery bill are both happy about that.

One positive result of putting down the whisk and measuring cups, I found was wanting to shoot things. Anything around the house.

In the City of Burnaby sits a City in the Park. A Versailles-esque groomed garden surrounded by shiny new skyscraping condos. A manicured postage stamp version of the famous gardens in France.
