River Dyke Walk

Oooh! I got to shoot my first frost of the season! It's beautiful out there. Crisp and bright and so refreshing! Went out to the corner of Spur Rd and Willard St to get up on the dyke to walk out to the spot a beaver had laboured his way through a river front tree or three. Industrious little beast.
I took license to play with some of my shots. Forced over and under exposures made for dramatic images.

Train Trestle ~ Lulu Island Bridge

Another wonderful Sunday. Coffee, breakfast and good company. Brilliant sunshine, a delightfully cool breeze accompanied us to the line between New Westminster and Richmond. We've driven along that stretch of River Rd countless times but no matter how many times we go back, we always find new things to shoot.

BumpersNow

Another Sunday morning drive around Surrey after morning coffees and our A&W cheese'n'eggers. It was a little soggy so we only took a short walk along the river behind rows of fenced off businesses. BumpersNow as a holding yard for every bumper make and model imaginable, as far as the eye could see. Couldn't believe the volume of mangled bumpers and bumper-less cars there were in the yard. Folks, we need to improve our driving skills. Bumpers are innocent victims of our total disregard for road safety. Anyway, just a few random things that caught my eye in the nearly totally monochromatic day.
