As usual we went for our Sunday morning nosh and drive.
Another Sunday, and another weather term to add to the list.
Weather term recap: Heat Domes, Atmospheric Rivers, Polar Vortexes.
Today's weather term: Thermal Inversion - a common enough weather occurance in the Metro Vancouver area to have its own designation.
It has something to do with the air temperatures inverting. The ground air becomes cooler than the higher air - resulting in a ceiling of fog.
