Since when did recycling change from 'non-profit' to 'for-profit'?

It annoys me that people would prefer to replace a perfectly good community swimming pool over keeping a convenient well run and clean recycling depot open in their neighbourhood.

Because of this decision of privilege, we made a mid-week drive out to the horrible, megalithic recycling depot out in Coquitlam, that you could easily shoot a block buster post-apocalyptic sci-fi feature.

I never want to go near the place again. And it's not because he-who-was-driving got us banned from the facilities over $25 )that we were NEVER told about).

I'll say it again the place is horrible. I would have taken more photos but the place had a horrible vibe and there were signs everywhere telling us to 'remain in your vehicle!'] Horrible.

Not really a worthy post but an outing gets a blog post. Anyway, a couple of pictures and some of driving to and from.

Spotted a happy little squirrel on our way.

Dashboard reflection on the window.

Department of National Defense?
Do I wanna know what's dripping?
There's winter in those clouds.
