Western Independent Gardeners [W.I.G.]

Another Sunday drive and coffee. Couldn't help notice how green everything is already getting.
Another week and it will be hard to remember what the long endless winter looked like.

Popped into W.I.G before we headed home. First time for him. I was enjoying him exploring their inventory. I think he might have liked the place as much as I did the first time I went in. I'm pretty sure he or I or both of us will be stopping in again [maybe next Sunday?] to actually buy supplies to add to our respective plant inventory.

We drove around a bit, I took a few snaps then we went to the gardening place, then headed home.

Check out this Peterbilt hood ornament!

I love living in BC.
The gentrification of an older neighbourhood.

W.I.G. [Western Independent Gardeners].

Wind mobile.
Weighed as much as a real car.
Good to know, eh?

So well made!
If he's still there when I go back, he's coming home with me!!

This needs red lights inside the eyes.

And some of the views on the home stretch.

More Ominous Skies

A cloudy Sunday morning. And chilly for April.

Today's post is mostly about turbulent ominous dark and blinding white clouds that chased us from here to Tsawwassen, the Canada/United States border and home again.

The day's light was frustrating for me but I was able to tweak a few of today's snapshots to keep a visual history of the day's little jaunt. (with a little help from Photoshop Elements)
