A Break from all that Spring Rain

April showers bring May flowers. Green is exploding everywhere. Ducks are having littler ducks. Naked trees are flaunting their freshly sprouted leaves. The weightless white clouds sait reflected in gently meandering rivers and gurgling creeks. Summer's dipping it's toe in the spring water and is prepping for its time with us.

We went down to the Fraser River Park today and took a few pictures of spring passing the baton on to summer and then miscellaneous sights along the drive home.

Surrey's Mud Bay / Boundary Dyke Trail

Took a ride out exploring potential walks as the weather gets better. Surrey's Mud Bay was this Sunday's destination. It is a portion of the Boundary Bay Dyke Trail.
It is a great place for a nice walk or run or bike ride with an amazing view of the water - a great spot to see local and migrating shorebirds that frequent the area. Birds like Sandpipers and Snowy Owls. Some that travel thousands of kms on their journey.

The eagles are slowing coming to town.
Beautiful weeping willows.
Flight school planes.
